Midwifery care and investment
I have devoted my career to supporting women through pregnancy, birth, and the transition to motherhood. Midwifery is not simply my profession; it is my life’s work. The care I provide is deeply personal, evidence-based, and intentionally limited to a small number of clients each year, ensuring that every woman receives exceptional continuity, availability, and clinical expertise.
My fees reflect the time, commitment, and responsibility involved in providing truly individualised care. Every appointment is unhurried, every recommendation is grounded in current evidence, and you will have direct access to an experienced midwife who knows you and your family.
Antenatal care From £5,000
This package provides comprehensive antenatal care from the time you book until the onset of labour.
Appointments are arranged at your home or another location convenient to you and are designed to provide the continuity that many women find invaluable. You will have direct access to me by telephone and email for advice, reassurance, and support throughout your pregnancy.
This option is particularly suited to women who value continuity of care, have experienced a previous traumatic birth, have complex circumstances, or simply wish to receive expert maternity care without the time pressures of standard appointments.
Your care includes:
- A comprehensive booking consultation (approximately three hours)
- Regular antenatal appointments (typically around two hours each)
- Blood pressure monitoring, urinalysis, abdominal examination, and assessment of fetal wellbeing
- Discussion of screening options and evidence-based recommendations
- Nutritional, lifestyle, and emotional wellbeing support
- Birth preparation and personalised birth planning
- Direct access to ongoing professional support
A dedicated birth planning appointment allows us to explore your options in depth, including place of birth, birth preferences, pain relief, physiological birth, delayed cord clamping, immediate newborn care, and the elements that are most important to you.
Postnatal care From £5,000
The weeks after birth deserve the same level of care and attention as pregnancy itself.
From the day you return home until your baby is at least 28 days old, I provide personalised postnatal care tailored to your individual needs. Visits are more frequent during the early days and gradually become less frequent as feeding is established, recovery progresses, and your confidence grows.
Postnatal care includes:
- Maternal physical and emotional wellbeing assessments
- Infant feeding support
- Newborn care guidance
- Weight monitoring
- Newborn screening support
- Sleep, recovery, and family adjustment advice
- Ongoing access to professional support
If your baby requires a longer hospital stay, I will visit you in hospital where possible, providing continuity and additional support during what can be a particularly challenging time.
Where clinically appropriate, I can also refer to trusted lactation consultants and other experienced practitioners to ensure you receive the highest standard of multidisciplinary support.
Full continuity of care. From £15,000
This is the most comprehensive level of care I offer and provides complete continuity throughout pregnancy, birth, and the postnatal period.
From the moment you book, you will be cared for by the same experienced midwife. I provide all antenatal care, remain on call for you from 37 weeks of pregnancy, attend your labour and birth, and continue caring for you and your baby throughout the postnatal period.
This level of care requires an exceptional degree of professional commitment and availability. For this reason, I accept only a limited number of full-care clients each year, ensuring that every woman receives the highest standard of personalised care and uninterrupted continuity.
I am a fully qualified Registered Midwife with 40years of experience across both the NHS and private sectors, in the United Kingdom and the Middle East. My practice combines extensive clinical experience with evidence-based care, calm decision-making, and a deep respect for physiological birth and informed choice.
Professional indemnity insurance: Where professional indemnity insurance for birth is required this will be discussed during the booking visit.
Consultations, debriefing, and one-off appointments. From £375
One-off consultations are available for women seeking expert midwifery advice without committing to a full care package.
These appointments may include:
- Breastfeeding and infant feeding support
- A comprehensive maternal and newborn assessment
- Birth planning and discussion of maternity options
- Preparation for a future pregnancy
- Review of a previous birth experience
- Independent evidence-based guidance
Many women find it particularly valuable to have a detailed birth debrief. If you have been left with unanswered questions following a previous birth, I can review your maternity records with you, explain the medical terminology, discuss the clinical decisions that were made, and help you understand your experience in a compassionate and objective way.
All consultations take place in the privacy of your own home, at a time that suits you, including evenings and weekends where required
